Brunei’s University Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), through its Faculty of Islamic Economics and Finance in collaboration with the Centre for Leadership and Lifelong Learning, held the World Banking System Training Programme.
A total of 29 participants from government and private officers, bankers, private law and audit firms, academicians and interested participants attended the training programme.
UNISSA Centre for Leadership and Lifelong Learning Director Ustazah Siti Nurasmah binti Haji Damit highlighted the importance of knowledge on the World Banking System in her welcoming remarks.
The World Banking System training programme was presented by facilitator Dr Hakimah binti Yaacob.
The training programme aimed to provide a comprehensive and practical knowledge on the effective Islamic banking system and operations for effective Islamic banking systems and operations for effective supervision.
It also aimed to provide a comprehensive, practical and up-to-date knowledge in Islamic banking regulatory framework, systems and operations.
