Credit Suisse Asset Management has merged away its actively-managed green bond fund into a passive strategy.
The CS Investment Funds 13 – Credit Suisse (Lux) Green Bond Fund was merged into the Credit Suisse Index Fund (Lux) – CSIF (Lux) Bond Green Bond Global Blue on 16 April.
A spokesperson for Credit Suisse said both the original and absorbing funds invest in green bonds, which can only be used to finance environmental and climate protection projects.
Credit Suisse Asset Management remains supportive of the green bond market segment and continues to offer its clients a professional investment solution in this sector. “In order to provide our clients with the most suitable products we have decided to merge the funds to an efficient size,” the spokesperson stated.
The fund manager of the merged active strategy Dominik Scheck remains with Credit Suisse following the merger.
