QIB, the Qatar Islamic Bank has been awarded with the ‘Islamic Bank of the Year in Qatar’ for the ninth consecutive year, but also the ‘Islamic Bank of the Year in The United Kingdom’ at the Islamic Bank of the Year 2021 awards hosted by the Banker Magazine.
The two very prestigious awards that went in the hands of QIB Qatar and UK, were due to the recognition of brilliant performance in the year 2020, as well as their success in exceeding the competition in the terms of finance performance, banking products digitalization, and implementation of innovative solutions in the Sharia-compliant banking in UK and Qatar.
The Banker Magazine, was established in 1926, and is top informer of the senior decision making leaders in the most prestigious financial institutions in the world.
