Specialist fixed income asset manager AD Global Investors Limited (ADGI) has launched four Ucits funds shortly after receiving its licence to manage funds and assets from the regulatory authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
The investment manager is the fixed income group with Invest AD and offers separately-managed accounts and funds, investing in emerging market debt local and hard currency, MENA fixed income and global sukuk.
Regulatory approval comes alongside the launch of four Ucits funds on 3 January. These are the following funds:
- AD Global Emerging Market Debt Local Currency;
- AD Global Emerging Market Debt Hard Currency;
- AD Global MENA Fixed Income;
- AD Global Sukuk.
These funds will be managed by the company’s co-chief investment officers Ian Clarke and Idrissa Boly, who report to CEO David Rothon.
Commenting on the newly-licenced group, Steve Barnett, financial centre development director at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market, said: ‘We are excited that they will be adding vibrancy to our asset management sector and capital market with more new and global products.’
