Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has announced employee training courses with a simplified guide for on the bank’s customers protection guide. This process aims to strengthen KFH’s economic position, as well as comprehension and compliance with all regulatory rules and regulations.                                                     

Head of Customer Complaints Unit Abdullatif Saad Al-Fadhli stated that the “Bank Customers Protection Guide” comprises a set of rules and instructions complementary to the rules and instructions issued by Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK). Toward that end KFH has upgraded and created new work procedures and policies. Continuous and condensed training programs will take place at all job levels.

Al-Fadhli added that the guide is uploaded on KFH web site (kfh.com) to facilitate the identification of its contents and high light customers obligations.

KFH plan to achieve financial comprehension is based on two pivots: enhance knowledge and achieve comprehension. Enhancing knowledge is achieved by (1) selecting samples of society tiers with different abilities and interests; (2) identifying their banking needs and services; and (3) structuring suitable services and products offered to them as per available information and suggestions.

Achieving comprehension shall depend on measuring KFH customers’ knowledge of the banking and finance services provided by the bank and the impact of this knowledge of the services and products in a comprehensive manner. Soliciting customers’ opinions and feedback will help KFH improve and upgrade the quality and services of its products.

The Banks Customers Protection Guide contains 10 basic principles: justice; equality; fairness; honest disclosure; transparency; ethical financial education; consumer fraud protection and providing safe online transactions; processing customer complaints; observing competition and conflicts of interest; and protecting customers from outside backup operations risks.
